Time left until you lose your landline

months until the old phone network switches off on 31 January 2027.

Every business still on a traditional landline or an on-site phone system has to move before then. Doing it now is cheaper and calmer than doing it in a rush.

What this means for you

Not sure whether this affects you?

The checker asks two questions and tells you where you stand, including what it would cost to replace what you have. It takes about thirty seconds and there is nothing to fill in.

What each of these actually does

Why bother with us

Four things that are genuinely different

The price is the ceiling, not the starting point

Ten or fifteen pounds a phone, and that is where it stays. No maintenance contract, no support charge, no per-feature licence creeping onto the bill in month four.

Changes are free, forever

Adding a starter, moving an extension, changing your opening hours or call routing. Done remotely by our team, usually the same day, at no charge. This is the bit that proves the first point.

Real people, in Northern Ireland, answer the phone

Not an overseas call centre and not a ticket that disappears. And when something needs hands on it, an engineer comes out promptly rather than next Thursday.

Serious engineering behind a small company

Our technical team has more than twenty five years in telecoms, including large scale enterprise phone systems for sites the size of hospitals. This is not a reseller with a logo and a price list.

How it works

Getting set up takes about a day

  1. A ten minute phone call

How many people answer the phone, what you have now, what annoys you about it. That is usually enough for us to give you a monthly figure.

  2. We check your broadband

A quick look at your connection to make sure it will carry calls properly. Free, and we will tell you honestly if it will not.

  3. Your numbers move across

You keep the numbers you already advertise. We handle the transfer with your existing provider.

  4. Phones arrive set up

Handsets turn up configured. Plug them into the network and they work. An engineer comes out if you would rather we did it.

  5. We stay on the end of the phone

Anything you want changed after that, you ring us and we change it. No charge, no visit needed.

Common questions

How much does a business phone system cost?

Ten pounds per phone per month on our Basic plan, or fifteen pounds per phone per month on Full, which includes unlimited calls to UK landlines and mobiles. That is the whole price. There is no maintenance contract, no support fee and no charge for features.

Handsets are bought separately and start at thirty pounds, or nothing at all if you take five or more.

Do I have to change my phone number?

No. We move your existing numbers across so customers carry on ringing the same number they always have. Nothing on your van, your signage or your Google listing needs to change.

What happens when the old phone network switches off?

The copper network that traditional landlines run on is being retired across the UK on 31 January 2027. If your business still uses a traditional landline or an on-site phone system connected to copper lines, it will stop working. Moving to a hosted system is how you deal with that. Here is the full explanation.

Do I need new broadband for this to work?

Almost certainly not. A hosted phone system runs over the internet connection you already have, and voice calls use very little of it. We check your line before quoting so there are no surprises. If your broadband genuinely is not up to it, we will tell you that rather than sell you a phone system that stutters.

What if I need something changed later?

You ring us and we change it, at no cost. Adding a new starter, moving an extension to a different desk, changing your opening hours or how calls are routed, all of it is done remotely by our technical team, usually the same day. No engineer visit, no invoice.

Are you actually local?

Yes. We are Northern Ireland owned and our engineers are based here. When something needs a person on site, a person turns up. Support is answered by someone in the same time zone who knows your setup.

Find out what your phones should actually cost

Tell us how many people answer the phone and we will tell you the monthly figure. No survey, no sales visit, no obligation. Most quotes take about five minutes on the phone.
